When you first start your business in Network marketing / MLM, you are practically doing a people's business. You need to promote your product and business opportunity to people. You need people to buy your idea. That's is why many distributors start the business with friends and family members as they are more likely to support and trust whatever you say.
But you need to approach them in a proper manner so that they don't feel pressurized and will support you in your business. You should reference the following points to make sure you close the sale without losing them.
You can start the meeting by warming thing up. Ask questions about how them, e.g. how's work, how did their kids fare in school, etc. Follow by updating them about yourself. You can tell them that you just joined this fantastic company, and cant wait to share about it with them.
Always conduct your presentation face-to-face. Arrange for a meeting, you can visit them at their work place or their homes, just make sure you inform them of your intention to drop by. If you are meeting them for lunch, you could offer to pay for the lunch, though it is not necessary, it shows some sincere.
Before you take out your sales kit and start your presentation, warm your prospect up warm or cold market by asking about them, their work or family.
Start by telling them about the company you joined and how committed you are to the company and the business. Guide them along with the range of products and services or opportunity
Always follow up with them, whether they buy or not. Send them updates about your company or new product. You can do this by email, text message or even a direct mailer to their home address.
If they express strong disapproval of the industry or product, do not argue. Do not try to convince them, it will make them resentful. Respect their opinions. You can just update them your progress send them updates of your company and products. Keep in touch with them, but do not try to talk to them anything about your company or try to sell them anything, unless they ask.
Some people take more effort to close. just persevere and your efforts may just be paid off.
