This is what is happening as the home business industry grows. Most of the people have never had any experience in owning a affiliate position with a company. They are comming into a very different world, and all though change can be a very positive thing, they look at the opportunity as something that will save them from what ever it is they are ailing from, like debt.
As they start to do things they have never done before, like learning to push past their comfort zone. Time goes by and they realize what they thought would happen doesn't materialize. What their doing to bring attention to their business doesn't work like they were led to believe. The enthusiasim they had when they first got started, comes to a trickle.
This is not their fault, because it's hard to get to any kind of solid income level dulicating the things they were led to belive would work. This is nothing new in this industry, it goes on way to often and many people give in to failure because they didn't know any better.
Well if this is going on in your business, all I can say is, it happened in my business also. I learned that every thing I was told to do was the worst information for those getting started. The money I wasted was no different then that of everyone whose first starting out. But at least I have that knowledge to pass along.
I log on to company seminars that are on the internet about their opportunity. And to many times it's like a repeat of the last company. Postcards to warm list's, that's very expensive and I did not get one result. I made thousands of calls over time, and it only made me broke buying leads. We can easily get tunnel vision sometimes at the hands of someone else.
The one main reason I like to see whats going on in these training webinars, and for the same reason I read anything that catches my eye on this industry is, To maybe pickup on something that might playout to be a good idea. Seldom that happens, so much is still old school, and that's all the new person has to work with.
So many home business opportunities are put together so well, and have a chance to really get it done. But there will be way to much turnover ratio with new reps. And they say that's just normal. I firmily stand my ground and tell you that's because there's no marketing system these new reps are using that has been proven to work!
