Overcome Your Prospecting Call Fear

Nerve wracking? Yes. Fear of the unknown? Absolutely. Required for your success and as a learning tool? Without a doubt. Relax and really pay attention to what I am saying here. Youve now prepared a comprehensive presentation for your product.

If you've never been involved in network marketing in the past, this is probably an extremely anxious, nerve wracking time for you. You actually have to call your first person and present to them everything you have learned about your product and about the network.

Don't let the fear stop you. Get over it, but you have to be prepared to face rejections. It is very common to be rejected over the first, second or third call. It is not impossible, but you need to persevere.

Doing calling is a mere number game. The more you call, the more sales and appointments you will get. This is definite! So even if you get rejected 10 times or 20 times does not mean that it is not effective, it just mean that you need to call more.

At worst, you'll end up crossing a name off of a list of 100 and moving to the second name. In fact, if they reject you earlier, that might be better than later it'll save you some time.

Now, with that being said, it is still important to carefully react to various problems the person you're calling presents.

When the person on the end asks questions or give you rejections, it may just mean that they are not convinces in the product or company. It is therefore your job to make clear their doubts through your knowledge and readiness.

Whenever you are calling, you must remember your aim is to get sales or appointments. Get over the fear of calling or facing rejections, and you are on your way to success!
